Making Memories is doing a really cool contest on their blog today. You have to check it out.
Speaking of MM,
here is a couple of layouts I did a while ago for packaging and catalogs for MM. Most of the layouts I do for them are smaller format (like 6x6 size) and so usually we can only fit the photo and the product we are featuring the layouts.
Thus, as you can see, no journaling, but I thought I would share anyway...I will post the majority of them later,
after CHA and the new product is out...
but here are just few. The last few are from the new Fresh Anthropology Line which is shipping at the end of this month.
Last night we worked on Braden's science fair project. He had been going back and forth about what he was going to do.. first it was a windmill project, then a bubble gum project.. and finally a pop project (he settled for this after his teacher told him he couldn't change it again! ). So last night he did it and we filmed it, since it was something that couldn't be done in school in front of everyone. He bought all types of different kinds of colas (liter bottles), Pepsi, Coke etc as well as caffeine free, diet etc. He wanted to see how each liter would react, when after opened, 2 mentos were dropped inside. He and Ben, rigged up a life size ruler and took turns with each bottle seeing how high the pop would explode up out of the bottle, with the mento's dropped inside. He also measured the amount of pop and "fizz" that came out of each one. It was pretty interesting! By the time he got everything set up, he had just about the entire neighborhood kids, sitting around our patio in lawn chairs, waiting for the show. At the end, for fun... they put 6 mentos in an extra bottle they had purchased and it made me smile to hear all the kids "roar" with cheers as the pop shot up about 6-7 feet in the air. Good times.
well tonight is my workout night, and actually looking forward to it! I am also slowing getting my classes for 2007 done today. I keep changing my mind about color schemes, etc and so it's just taking me forever! LOL. Also waiting on a little bit of product I ordered on the Internet to get here too.
Well better get back to that! Don't forget to check out the Making Memories Blog!
Hey love the LO's - can't wait to see the new prodcuts that everyone has!! I'm such a freak about all this stuff. I'm also so jealous of your job. What fun - to scrap for a living. I've been doing albums for a doctor for a year now - wish that could be my JOB. I guess a girl can always have a dream - in the meantime I'll live through you. :)
