wow! thanks to everyone who posted about their favorite memories on my spring cleaning post giveaway! It was SO fun to read everyone's favorite memories. Some happy, some sad, some funny.. just a really good read!
I am happy to say that my room is now ORGANIZED.. but alas, still messy. I have a few things to still find places for, but I feel good that I made it through EVERY box, every drawer, every nook and cranny in my scraproom and cleaned house!
Before I go any further, I want to announce the winners of the cleaning giveaway! I printed out everyone's posts, cut them into strips, mixed them up in a huge pile and had my 2 youngest kids draw them out for me! I ended up with SO much stuff, that I actually did 7 boxes instead of 5!!!
Okay here we go! if you are one of the winners, e-mail me with your address info. I will also give you instructions on how to pay for shipping! :)

I saw a few people also asked ME what my favorite memory is and have I scrapbooked it.
What a hard question! LOL because how do you pick just one? I decided to pick one from my childhood because since I got married there are just so many that I cant even count. One of my favorite memories from when I was young, was when my parents were still married and we actually lived here in Shelley, just down the street from the house I am living in now. I only lived in Shelley for a few shorts years, but I remember one summer day, all the kids were playing outside with the neighbors ( I had 6 brothers and sisters at the time) and I couldn't go because I had chicken pox. I remember sitting on the back porch with my mom and crying because I couldn't go play with all the other kids. My mom was always so good at being loving and gentle and I just remember her sitting by me, hugging me. I remember she was able to cheer me up by telling me some fun stories and finding a fun activity for me to do. It's one of my favorite memories because my mom was such a great mom growing up. She was always playing games with us, doing treasure hunts, singing songs etc. Even when we were sick and feeling yucky, she seemed to find fun in everything. It's cool because now that I have kids of my own, she is still the same! When ever we come to visit, she always have some GREAT adventure planned right in her own backyard. My kids love coming to visit because there is always fun brewing at her house. She is a young grandma (only in her 50's) but she has 33 grandchildren and she plans great adventures for all of them! So have I scrapbooked that memory? No.. sadly enough I haven't really scrapbooked too many of my favorite memories. But I need to. I think that's a great idea for a class. A mini album full of favorite memories! I will get right on that :)
Speaking of classes. I will be teaching at a local event here in Idaho Falls in June. It's called the Express the Moment Convention! I will also be the Key Note Speaker at this event and can't wait! They have asked me to talk on the importance of scrapbooking and journaling. What to journal, how to journal and why it's important. I am nervous, but super excited! I have never spoke at an event before. There will be 120 women attending! AH!! I will also be teaching 2 classes at that event. One is a mini album. It's on the women in my life and the lesson I have learned from each one of them! The book has over 20 pages in it! and counting.
This is a sneak peak of the papers we will be using in the class. YUM! Great new papers from Scenic Route, American Crafts, Making Memories, Autumn Leaves and Chatterbox. Love mixing patterns from different companies! I will also be selling a limited number of these kits next month on my blog. The kits I sell from my blog will be a little different than the kits I use in classes. Normally I pre-cut everything for classes including paper, ribbon, etc. Usually on stamps and other tools I only bring shared items, to use in class, but not to take home. But I have decided for my blog kits, that I thought it would be funner to include full sheets of papers, ribbons, etc. As well as the stamps themselves. This will make the kit a little more expensive than a normal class, but you will get tons of goodies and lots of extra stuff to add more pages to the album or to use on other things like layouts etc! So watch for that in May!
Oh! and one more fun thing! I was asked to be a guest designer on Scrapbook Bakery next month! I had so much fun working on my layouts and project at the crop Friday night!
It's a great kit. Lots of fun stuff in it. Here is a picture of the kit.. but I will post sneak peaks of the projects later this week!
Speak of crops.. that crop Friday night was SO fun. It was so good to see so many old friends and finally meet some of the people that read my blog! The store had so many great new products in it. Thanks Sherelle for putting it on! She took pictures, so I need to have her e-mail them to me! I got 5 layouts done! Can you believe it? and one tag/card set. I didn't think I would only because I am such a social person and I can't talk and scrap at the same time. Seriously i can't! LOL. So it was fun.
Well hope you all have a wonderful Monday. Mondays are always hectic for me because my kids have "early release". They get home at 1:00 and it just screws me up every Monday! I always forget too and think.. why are you home so early!?? I have a terrible memory. Seriously terrible. We have lived here almost 6 months and I still forget they get out early everything Monday. I have something seriously wrong with my brain. :)

So good to see you Friday night!
I am like you, I tend to chat more than Scrap, but oh how good it felt to just be able to visit!
You are amazing... can't wait to see your sneak peaks!
Hugs!
