winners for GotCrafts Class.. and more

So we need to post some winners to the GotCrafts Class I am teaching! It starts on Monday, so e-mail me soon, so we can get you in! So these past couple of weeks have been crazy as usual. My oldest son, Braden, was asked at the first part of the school year, by a family friend's daughter, to be her partner in a Ballroom class that her dance studio was offering. The girls sign up, and then it's their job to find a partner for the entire year. She asked Braden and I seriously thought there was NO way he would do it. He is super shy and kinda awkward when it comes to girls. But HE DID (and not with a very good attitude might I add).. and so all year they have been learning their dance routine, and last week they had their dance recital. He has been SO nervous to perform, even though I had heard from many of the other parents and his teacher that they considered him one of the best dancers in the class (and are starting a new advanced ballroom class next year, and want him to join)!  Well recital night came and he was AWESOME! I couldn't believe how comfortable he looked and what a great job he did! Mr. Football player.. was dancing! LOL.. and after, on the way home, it was quiet and all of the sudden he says "you know, that was actually fun! I like preforming on stage, it's kinda like football. I think I will do it again next year!"  I was like.. what???  I am glad he is well rounded.. and am glad he is learning something different. I was really proud of him!

well, I have also been busy because our kits debut yesterday on Scarlet Lime, AND I am leaving next week for Donna Downey's event, Inspired! I am attending the event as a student, but also going to teach 3 mini workshop classes and can't wait! I am going with my two friends,Melody Ross and Margie Romney-Alsett! We are meeting up with a few other of our friends in the industry.. and it's seriously going to ROCK! I can't wait!  The event is sold out, BUT they are offering miniworkshops, the day before the event and the night of each day of the event....that are open to ANYONE.. so if you are looking for a last minute getaway.. or something fun to do for Mother's Day.. you should come! There are SO many mini workshops being offered.. you could really make an entire weekend of it!  It's REALLY going to be fun.. They are offering all types of classes like Jewelry Making, purses, scrapbooking, canvas paintings, home-decor projects, sewing projects, clay, you NAME IT! Heather Bailey (one of my favorite fabric designers) is going to be there teaching and she still has spots open in her class! There really are TONS of mini workshops from some really cool people in the Scrapbooking industry.. so come!

and GUESS what JUST arrived! Literally! My husband is standing behind me telling me my CAMERA JUST ARRIVED!! I am SOOO Excited! It's the new Cannon Rebel.. that has video! So excited.. i have been missing having a camera!
