Well.. not a newsletter since we did one on Monday.. BUT we are doing some more sneak peeks of the October kits!

We have three kits that debut on Monday..

our Main kit (which is sold out, sorry).

our Crush Add-on kit  and our Guest Artist Favorite's kit!

This first peek is of a few of the layouts Courtney Walsh has done using both the Main October kit and our October Crush.. LOVE the Crush kit add-on.. oh so yummy!! (it's the one with the oranges, pinks, reds and browns...)

Make sure you check back on Monday in our   Artist's Gallery for all of the Scarlet Lime Artists Layout's! AND.. don't forget about our Guest Artist... SHE seriously ROCKs! Can't wait to show you what she has done with our main kit AND her favorites kit!

Remember.. if missed out on the October Subscriptions for our main kit and want to make sure you get a kit for November, you will have until the 3rd of October to sign up. Either follow the link on our kits page.. or send me an e-mail and I will put you on the wait list to guarantee you a kit.

I have 3 Making Memories 9"x9" leather albums.. from the Fresh Anthropology line.. oh so dang cute.. so how about on Monday we draw three winners for these three albums? Plus I will throw in a few other fun goodies as well, like some Making Memories 9"x9" paper and a few embellishments to get your album started!

For me.. I really am in love with all types of office/ledger products. I also am into fun vintage ribbons like lace and crocheted trims too...

OH and one more thing.. I have had alot of people ask when the kits will go live for sale on Monday.. they will be up at 8:00 am. MST on Monday.   Normally I would do it the night before say at 11:00 pm, but since it's Sunday.. we will do it Monday morning!

Okay so for those of you who are are Subscriber to our monthly kits (meaning you have a subscription to receive our main kit each month).. you should have gotten an e-mail notice yesterday with info on how to pay for your October subscription AND with options to purchase the two add-on kits. (plus we give you pictures of the kits!)

If you didn't get it PLEASE let me know. E-mail is such a hard thing and I know I sent it to everyone on the list.. but remember it went to the e-mail that is connected to your PAY-PAL account. So if it's your husband's account make sure you check his e-mail.. or if it's an old e-mail address.. and you haven't updated it.. you might not get it. Let me know and I will send it to the address you respond from and update your e-mail for future.

sometimes my brain just doesn't work..

just a quick update, to let you all know that the newsletter will be going out on Monday instead of tomorrow.  Sorry! but I promise I have a good reason! :)

You see.. I was asked about 2 months ago, to teach at a retreat someone was having in a town about 2 hours away from here. .. I had it marked down in my calendar  as NEXT weekend.. until I got an e-mail from one of the fun ladies going,  asking me what time should she pick me up to head to the event. I totally thought she was joking and just giving me a hard time because she is that way.. but lo and behold.. the event is actually this weekend! In-fact it started today.. but since I had thought it was next weekend.. we had scheduled a church dinner here at our house tonight (with about 80 people).. and we were cooking and in charge of it. (my calling in church is over some of the church activities)..

SOO had to make a couple of minor changes..  my classes are tomorrow.. so we just got done with the dinner, now need to go pick up my kids then head out for the 2 hour drive.. (my husband is driving me up there tonight..  poor guy)..

Sorry about this! I was so excited to post some new sneak peeks tomorrow but the newsletter takes me about 1 hour or so to do.. and if I don't leave soon.. my husband will be driving pretty late on his way home.. (he's driving me up, then turning around and coming back home tonight..)

I am serious when I tell you  my brain doesn't work sometimes! Ask me about the time we showed up for an event that was 3 hours away.. the WEEK BEFORE.. instead of the weekend of!!  .. or last week how we got all dressed up in red and black.. got a babysitter and headed out the door to go watch the homecoming game at the local school with our oldest son and realized when we got there (and the field was empty) that the game is was the following weekend.. yep that's me!!! LOL.. luckily I have my husband who usually keeps my head on straight.. but sometimes things sneak past him too..

so anyway! watch for that newsletter coming MONDAY!! :) I will be without e-mail until Saturday night.. so if you don't hear back from me right away.. that's why :)

Well since the October Main kit has sold out.. I thought we better have some fun and show some peeks of the two add-on kits.. I have decided we have kinda started a theme here with our newsletters.. so hopefully each Friday, we will send out a newsletter with fun giveaways and sneak peeks on up coming kits!

So watch for that again this Friday.. in the meantime. I wanted to let you all know that our Guest Designer for October is so dang fun! Her style is very eclectic with a mix of cottage chic! AND... one of our add-on kits is a kit of her "favorites" (and boy does she have great taste!!)

And her favorites go so well together with the other two kits!..

I am excited about these two add-on kits too because they each include some REALLY fun.. really unique stuff. One of the kits in particular has some "to-die" for etsy goodies. AHH! Infact I saw a finished picture of them last night and I can't WAIT! They were custom made to fit the kit and so they go perfectly with everything else! YUM! I think she is mailing those off today, so maybe I can create a sneak peek layout with them by Friday, to go in the newsletter.

SOLD OUT- October Main

okay.. now before  you all start throwing stones at me.. PLEASE know, that I had really no idea that our October main kits would sell out before the 1st. I had opened them up to pre-orders and then decided to put a close date of today, to make sure I didn't run out before the first.. and the response was just so big this weekend.. that we sold out just moments ago..

And.. as I said in an earlier post, I would re-order more kits, for the 1st, to accommodate single purchase buyers and those of you that may be hesitant to purchase without a seeing the entire package.. BUT I back IN august I had already ordered the the exclusive stamps for the Octobers main kits, so my kits were limited to the number of stamps I had made. Sorry!! :) (please don't hate me okay?? :))...

I am so sorry for the inconvenience.. but I also wanted to let you know that we will have two additional add-on kits for October that will also be available on the 1st. These kits are limited and they are offered to our subscribers first, but we hope to have some as well for the October release and are working on getting a few more of those for our October debut!

I have updated our kits page.. and also have information on there right now for the November kit subscription. If you would like to order a November kit subscription NOW, and guarantee your main kit for November, you may do so.. just click on the kits page of our website to find out more. These kits don't ship until November ..

I also realize you are paying for them now.. which again sorry for the inconvenience.. but this is the only way I  can truly gage on what to order for November.. (as I will try not to order too little.. and of course try not to order too much). If you are consider a sub and want to start with the November kit and can't purchase it now.. PLEASE don't hesitate to e-mail me..and we will see what we can work out! :)

I have also updated the info page with more info on international shipping!  I found out a few things this time after I shipped internationally (like after 3 pounds or so, you can't ship first class to most international countries)..

so if you order 3 or more kits, this would put you over the allowed weight for first class. so if you are an international customer, please check out that page for more info. (The rates have not changed for one kit purchase.. but have changed slightly for 3 kits and above.. to reflect the weight problems).

Also.. I have fixed the shopping cart! So now all shipping options should be covered in our shopping cart! Make sure you choose from the drop down menus to find the one that fits your needs and where you live (including local pick ups).

Update on September PP kits and October kits!!!

First off.. the September Paper-crafting Kits are sold out! Thanks to all those who purchased it! Can't wait to see what you do with it.. make sure you post a link!

I wanted to make sure I let you know, because  I had the site changed around 3:00 to reflect that they were sold out, but somehow people who hadn't refreshed their browser were still able to buy kits even though they were sold out. Sorry about that! I felt bad.. so if you can see the page and you still see a purchase button, refresh your browser :).

Also I have had so many different questions about the subscriptions and how they work and the renewal process, so I thought I would post those here too.

On the last month of your subscription, when I send you a link to pay for your final sub, you will also be given the option of renewing your sub for another 3 month or just making your final sub purchase. The sub will NOT renew automatically.. so if you choose not to renew, we won't automatically send you an invoice until you cancel. I figured it was best this way, so you aren't stuck paying for something unless you remember to "un" subscribe.. (if you are like me.. you probably don't remember! LOL)..

I also know some of you have asked if you can be on a 6 month sub. I originally didn't offer a 6 month sub, because again, I didn't want you to feel tied down to something for 6 months, but since there have been alot of requests for a 6 months sub, I will start posting those for the October kit. If you already have a subscription for 3 months and know you would like to extend it now, to a 6 months sub, just e-mail me and we will get it taken care of :).

Sorry I didn't about the confusion on the subs too, I just didn't realize there would be so many of you that would want to do a 6 month sub.. but I also realize the hassle of remembering to renew for something. So I see both sides of it now. E-mail me at christy@scarletlime.com

OH a couple more things (this is turning into a long update, not a short one!  sorry!!! LOL)

if any of you receive your kits and you are missing something or it's damaged.. PLEASE don't hesitate to e-mail me! (and if something is missing.. I am sure it's my fault not my husband's! LOL.. he did the paper and the big things, I did the little baggies.. so you can blame me! :)). But please, truly feel free to e-mail me, don't think you are being silly. YOU COME FIRST!

second thing: I am having trouble with my mass e-mails. It seems when I blind copy other people on an e-mail (say for instance the newsletter or when I mailed out the instructions).. it is either cutting some of those receipt ants off.. or I am not sure, but even though I am sending it to everyone on the list, it's not getting there. (I keep wondering if it's because I use the word "babe" a lot and my outlook security program consider that word "racy" and doesn't send it?? who knows! LOL)

so.... from now on, I will also post links to those things here (in additional to e-mailing them to you) Sorry for the hassle.

okay and lastly, an update on October Subscriptions:

We will only be accepting pre-sign ups for October subscriptions until next Monday the 17th. I need to have a cut off date, so that we will have some kits to sell on the 1st when the October kits go live.

You see, I didn't realize or expect the response we have gotten to the Scarlet Lime Kits (THANK YOU by the way).. and I had already ordered my exclusive stamps for both the September kit and October kit. back in August... and while I did bump of the number of stamps from September to October when I had them made, I didn't anticipate this kind of response.

Soo.. I only have the number of kits for October that I have stamps that I have stamps for.... which means I need to cut off the pre-sign ups, so we can have some of the main kits to debut for October! :)  Sorry for the inconvenience.

You will still be able to purchase a subscription or a kit on October 1st, when the kits go live on our website, but again those kits will be limited and so I can't guarantee how many there will be. Also remember, we will have 2 other add-on kits that are so fun too.. so watch for those!

I am working on the  exclusive stamps for November RIGHT NOW, so I am going to make sure I order enough that we can have lots of extras if we need them. This is all so new to me.. so we are learning as we go! Thanks for your patience..YOU ALL ROCK!

I have a few things to catch up on for BHG tomorrow ( one of my other jobs :)) but on Friday I have plans to show you another sneak peek of the October kit, send out a newsletter and do a couple more giveaways! Some info on the September Papercrafting kits

Hey ladies! I just want everyone to know I sent out an e-mail earlier today with the link to the September Paper-crafting Kit instructions.  If you don't get one from me, e-mail me! I sent it to the paypal e-mail address that was used to pay for the kit.

We only have two Paper-crafting kits left! So if you are interested, check out our kits page to see how to purchase yours!

oh and I needed to clarify something. The kits that were mailed out yesterday were the SEPTEMBER kits. The October kits will be mailed out between the 5th and the 10th of October. Sorry for the confusion!

Oh! and I wanted to let everyone know who won prizes from this blog. Most of them were mailed out yesterday with the kits. There were a few that we found we got left behind on our shipping excursion.. be rest assure they are on their way now! :)

we are postal :)

just got back from the post office not too long ago and wanted to say,  the Scarlet Lime  kits are postal! :)

I can't WAIT for everyone to get theirs and also to hear feedback!!

We had a long weekend/week last week getting everything kitted and my sweet husband had only ONE complaint. He told me "don't ever do wallpaper again!" Lol.. you see it's REAL wallpaper and so it curls and won't lay flat (wallpaper only lays flat after you get it wet and spread it out to dry).. It was actually kinda funny to watch him figure out how to cut it all but, he got it done and they are safely snuggled in between your papers!

After it was all said and done, he said.. "well I suppose it's okay if you do wallpaper again, just not anytime soon". .... Maybe I shouldn't tell him of some really cute stuff I found the other night....

Well just had to send a quick update!

Now off to have a birthday party for my daughter, Allie. She turns 8 today!!
