I thought I would give a quick update on the kits!
First off the candy.. I am not going to tell you what it is.. but let me just say.. it was totally Ben's idea. I was already to pick something else out and he saw these and thought in celebration of Halloween we should get this other instead. I insisted no.. and he said I was boring .. that I always just try the same things over and over and so I said.. he was right! So the candy in your kits this time is courtesy of my husband Ben! ( actually they are pretty good! LOL.. I just had to tease him a bit!).
okay.. kits! Well this actually goes along with customer service as well. MOST of the kits are at the post office.. we had a few that didn't make it due to when we began to kit the product we realized that one of our companies had shorted us a couple packs of paper for one of the add-on kits.. It should be here today and the rest will go out this afternoon.
BUT when I started this business, I really wanted two things: Of course to create fun, eclectic fabulous kits.. but also to have stellar customer service..to always respond quickly to people, to problems, to make sure your kits arrive safely and with the right product in it.. and ALSO to make sure the kits get out on or before the deadline stated on our info page (which was the 10th.. yesterday).
So I just wanted to apologize to those who kits are going out today.. instead of yesterday! It truly was my fault.. not the fault of the manufacturer.. because if we had started kitting sooner, or if I had checked the product for accuracy as it came in.. we would have noticed sooner and notified the manufacturer sooner. I completely apologize for this!
We had been working so hard last week to get everything ordered for November and working on our "surprise" that in attempt to make Novembers kits FABULOUS.. we neglected to get all of the October kits out before the 10th. TRULY sorry.... because you deserve the best!
THE GOOD NEWS? next month we hope to have all the kits ready to go by the 5th! This is all a work in progress for us (Ben and I).. I don't think we anticipated the response the Scarlet Lime kit club would have.. so we are learning we go with the timing of things, etc.. and this next month hopes to be our best month ever!!
(Still oh so excited about the surprise.. hopefully next week I can share some peeks!)
Well watch for our newsletter either tonight or tomorrow.. after we get these last few kits in the mail I think I am going to take a much needed nap right after I clean my house, office and yard before all of our family arrives tonight for our Daughters baptism this weekend! Then I will work on the newsletter later tonight.. after company has gone to bed..
Thanks for all the well wishes on getting better. I think it's turned into a sinus/strep thing now! LOL.. but I am used to it.. did you know last year in January.. I had strep throat 3 times in ONE month? holy cow.. what is wrong with my immune system!?? My husband has only been sick like 4 times (including this last weekend) in our entire marriage.. so weird how some people just get more sick than others..
anyhow.. too much info i am sure! LOL..
well once again.. thanks for all of YOUR patience.. you are all such wonderful customers and you are the ones that make this kit club ROCK! Sorry to those whose kits are going out today instead of yesterday! Next month be on the lookout for a "thank you" gift in each of your boxes..

NO..no more babies for us.. not for now anyway.. BUT there were actually some people who guessed right! And actually some people guessed a few things that yes we are actually doing for November, but wasn't the "big" surprise I was taking about! You will have to find out later what those are.. but for now.. let's giveaway two prizes and then I will tell you what the big secret is!
