Christy has really inspired so many to work on canvas. I had this cute picture of my daughter and her best friend at the end of the school year and thought it would be fun to put it on canvas so she can hang it on her bedroom wall.
I used spray mists to color the canvas, blending with my fingertip. After the mists were dry, I added papers and stickers from the July 2011 Lemonade Stand kit to decorate the 9x12 canvas.
Mixed media is not really in my comfort zone. However, when I approached it like a scrapbook page, it made it a little easier to try something new.
Hope this inspires you to try something new :)
