Hello Scarlet Lime readers! I hope this H.O.T. month of July is treating you well! Today, I'm going to show you a quick and easy way to create a fun card--and use up all of those scraps left after you've torn into your kit!
To start off with, gather some basic supplies:
All you need is cardstock, some scraps, and stickers or 3D elements. I also love breaking out my border punches for these little projects.
Punch the bottom strip of the card for a fun effect:
If your strip of cardstock is too long, simply trim off the edge. There's no particular length needed, I just eyeball it. If you plan on using a particular envelope though, make sure you measure at this step!
Fold the cardstock over (I leave the punched strip sticking out a bit so as not to disrupt the pattern). Then, grab some scraps and start a'trimmin'!
To mix it up, I like to punch at least one or two strips with a different pattern.
Line up your scraps and see if you like the look.
Add a fun element with coordinating colors!
Add some letter stickers, and you're all set! A fun and easy card ready to go for the next occassion!

This is so pretty! Love the color combo!
