Yes, it is that time again...Time to get your hands messy! Making canvases is one of my new favorite things to do. It makes me feel like an artist each time I create one. It also lets me indulge myself in my love of bright and vivid color. I used the Scarlet Lime Mixed Media Kit with Christy's new She Art Line by Pink Paislee.
This canvas is was a ton of fun and it amazes my how I can actually create an image from just a few hand cut triangles. My trees were perfectly frames by the Silver Rhinestones Nestabling Pennants from Want2Scrap. What a fun and different way to use them.
The Kaiser Craft Rub-ons and Faber-Castell India Ink Pens are perfect to add some fun details.
And just one more so you can see some of the fun details in this...
Now for one more way to use this kit...how about an ATC?
I hope you are inspired to dig in and get you fingers messy too. It is really very freeing to create and not worry about making mistakes. In the mixed media world mistakes tend to make the best art!

Happy art! I esp love the ATC...so cute :0)

I love your canvas and it makes me happy when I look at it!! I've taken both of Christy's She Art classes and I'm such a fan of her mixed media kits. The March one which debuted her new line really packed a punch and I'm with you-my happiest times are creating canvases and getting messy. TFS!

Love your projects, so happy!
So agree with you about creating canvases. Since discovering Christy and her very first class I hadn't really done very many canvases but now that's all I really do. Love the way that I actually have something to show rather than my art be hidden away in a journal or scrapbook LO. Canvases are the way to go!
