What is the Art Society?
This monthly club is designed to bring to you new techniques, new projects, introduce you to new products and connect you with other like minded artist who want to learn and spread their wings as well!
Each month I will create a new project filled with fun new artsy ideas and techniques! Innovative new ways to grow as an artist.. both beginners and seasoned artists as well. I will also be going over in detail the products used for each project and will give you insights into why one product may be better than another, or how you can substitute many different products to get the same results! I will also each month try to mix new products you may haven't seen before, or have been wanting to see in action.. as well as using trusty old favorites. This club is designed to help you learn creatively, by learning new techniques to strengthen your own art, to grow as an artist and also to have a broader spectrum of what mixed media is and can be!
It's ALSO designed to help you use UP that stash of products you have sitting on your art table! I will be pulling from MY stash as well and helping you to work through yours! Because if you are like me.. i have way more product than I know what to do with.. and even though it's fun to try new mediums and use new designs, it's also just as fun to push yourself to creatively use what you already have!
We will also have a group community (which will be optional) where you can share you work each month, get feedback, share ideas and more!
Each month you will receive three videos, plus a full Supply list PDF, as well as pdfs that may be necessary to complete the project (or projects).
How much is a monthly subscription?
The cost of this monthly club is $9.95 per month! I wanted to make this affordable for anyone! You can also signup and pay for a year in advance and you will receive a 16% discount of the already monthly subscription price! This is a Re-ocrruing sub, so will bill automatically each month, unless you email us to cancel.
(Only $99.95 per year instead of $119.40)
one Time purchases of this video club will be available on the 15th of each month for $16.95
How am I billed?
We only use paypal for our subscriptions and billings. How Paypal works with Subscriptions, is the day you sign up, you are billed for the current months' club video. However the club videos are NOT sent out until the 15th of each month.
So if you signup on the 8th of January.. you will be billed on paypal that day, however you will not receive the link to January's project until the 15th of January. Paypal ALSO bills on the same day each month and that is the day you signed up. It can't be changed. So if you signed up say on the 8th. You will be billed each month on the 8th.
Signups for this club are only available at certain times during the month. (generally between the 8th-15th of each month).
How do I know If I am signed up?
When you sign up initially, you will receve an email from our paypal account, letting you know that you have been billed for your first subscription and that you have signed up for a new subscipription to the Art Society. This will come the day you sign up. If that email happens to go into spam, you can also check your paypal account to see if your billing went through. It will show up on your account history page. Your next email from us will be on the 15th with your welcome email and link to that month's video club!
When do I receive my monthly video link?
Your monthly video links will be sent on the 15th of each month around 6PM PST. They will go to your Paypal email address. If you want them to go to a different address please send that information to christy@scarletlime.com
What if my monthly billed payment is delayed through paypal?
sometimes paypal may have trouble billing your account. If your account can't be billed on it's normal date and payment comes in after the 15th. It will go out within 48 bussiness hours of when it was billed (after the 15th).
Can I skip a month?
No infuriatingly you can't skip a month. Sorry
How long is my subscription for?
Subscriptions are required for a minimium of 6 months.. however they will continued to be billed after 6 months is up, until you cancel (after the first 6 months is filled). This includes yearly subscriptoins as well.
If you cancel before the 6 months is up, your account will be billed $19.95 for early cancellation.
once you have fullfilled your 6 months, you cancel at anytime by emailing us at customerservice@scarletlime.com
How long will I have access to the videos?
You will have access to each monthly video that you pay forever! YOU will be required however to keep track of the monthly links sent to you.. so that you can access them at later times.
Is there a kit that goes with the videos?
No, there is NOT a kit that goes with the videos however as mentioned above, I will be sharing with you how to create these projects with your OWN stash.. and also listing the supplies I do use which most can be found in our online store www.scarletlime.com
