So as you know.. Monday my moodboard was on Birdcage love and how one of my new found loves is collecting birdcages (thanks to miss Margie)..
I have also discovered i LOVE painting birdcages.. they are so fun and whimsical and can be just about any shape you want. Plus I always love an excuse to be in my garage/art studio painting.. so I created these three mixed media Birdcage art pieces..just had to share..
they are just small. 4"x4" in size. But can be displayed in a row on a wall.. or on a table.
They read:
Dream, Fly, Soar..
I used mostly paints, stamps, vintage papers and my doodle pen.
These were so fun and super simple to create. Can't wait to hang them in my office.. as a reminder to dream.. then fly.. then SOAR!

I checked out Paper Coterie beta....WOW what an amazing site! I went right to work on teachers gifts for the end of the year. The Swatch books worked perfect!

Paper Coterie looks great!! How generous of them. It is a great way toi get the word out. Loving your small birdcages. Anxious for the She Has Three Hearts Class to start. The She Art class was great stuff! I thought a supplies list would be up by now. I'm on a fixed income and usually need to do my shopping right at the beginning of the month so I was hoping it would be out by now so I'd be ready. Hoping it is out soon. Have fun at Ranger U. I wish I were there, but I'm glad I can learn it all from you!
