Happy Monday Friends!
So if you have been reading my blog you know i have been working on making changes to our Scarlet Lime Kit club!
Our kit club is a monthly kit club, where each month I send you a box full of goodies that you can use in your mixed media, art journaling, home decor, papercrafting and just about ANYTHING projects! It ships automatically to your door each month!
We also offer these kits in our store, if we are not sold out.. but as a kit club member, you get them shipped first AND you get a discount on them every month. Where as in the store, they are not discounted.
For the last couple of years I have been the only one doing projects for the mixed media kit and art journaling kit .. which only happened when I had time.. haha. Time? What's that?
As you know, having project instructions are not included in my kits each month as many of you.. or MOST of you are already mixed media artist yourselves, have taken loads of my online workshops (where i teach you all how to use the products you receive each month) and watch my tutorial videos here on my blog! But I also know it's fun sometimes to see inspiration from the kits, so i have asked some designers to help me out from time to time, in creating projects for the kits each month!
Most of you already are familiar with Junelle Jacobsen, who has done many workshops with me. She is freaking talented and I adore this girl!
I have also asked Robin Blackman (she doesn't currently have a blog) to help me as well!
I met Robin a few years ago.. and she has been coming to my art retreats and taking my online workshops for years!
I love Robins Whimsical Messy style.. and so have asked her to help me do projects as well! They Both will be not only working on project for kits moving forward, BUT they are both currently working on project from past kits (from Dec 2012-Oct 2013). Wahoo!
Robins first project was just posted on the Scarlet Lime Blog.. and you can ALSO find it HERE!
This project was doing using the October Mixed Media Kit.. for my kit club Scarlet lime! We have a few of these kits still available in our store HERE
SO hop on over and check her post out! Excited for this new help for sure!
I will also of course be doing tutorials from time to time.. whenever possible as I LOVE doing it!
So that is some fun news!
in OTHER fun news.. guess what? Many of you have been asking if we will be having a 2013 Artsy Ornaments Online Workshop and the answer is yes!!!
I am SOOO excited for this years workshop for a lot of reasons!
One: Because of the 11 amazing artists joining me this year.. and TWO because we are starting this workshop EARLY this year! Normally we debut it the 1st week of christmas but this year we are hosting it the week before thanksgiving! Giving you TONS Of time before December to make holiday goodies for gifts, for your home, for your tree! Most of us gather with family over thanksgiving and I find the "moms" always love to have stuff to do.. so this will be the perfect thing for you and your daughters/sisters, friend to create while the men watch football :). This workshop will start November 19th! In just over 2 weeks! SO SOON! wahoo!
I will be announcing the FULL info about it on my blog wednesday including who the awesome teachers are.. (you are going to die with excitement when you find out!) and you will be able to sign up then! It's gonna rock!
see you wednesday!
happy Tuesdays!
xoxo
Unless you acquire some made out of heavier cardboard which allows for bulkier preparing or holding, shifting boxes normally have very similar weight load and features as typical shipping and delivery boxes. So, how should you purchase the right ones for a move?

I really love to do carpentry and would like to do a project with my dad, but don't know what to do. Could the project please be a little on the easy side?.

Robin, love your project. Your flower centers are just awesome.
Christy can't wait for the next ornament class. I too wondered if you were going to do one this year again. Can't wait, glad that it is a little bit earlier this year.
