Hello lovely friends! it's friday! wahoo! what are your plans for the weekend? I hope something relaxing and fun!
Many of you have been asking for me to offer my Art Society Projects as one time purchases (for those of you that don't want to subscribe to the monthly club).. so your wish is my command! lol
now all three months (our first month started in January) is now available for one time purchases and has it's own page on our Scarlet Lime website!
To subscribe to these monthy vidoes.. it's $9.95 per month.. one time purhcases are $16.95.. (so going with the 6 month subscribiption is a way better deal).. BUT for those of you that want to pick and choose your projects.. or want to try out the monthly project before committing to 6 months.. or longer.. this is the perfect way to try it!
Or even if you just want to add a bit of fun new techniques to your spectrum of art knowledge.. this is also a great way to do that as well.
want to see what we have made for January, February and March? Here they are below! If you would like to purchase them, you can click on the link below!
Art Society One Time Purchases
a fun square canvas.. where I show you two different ways to do a background and create a up to date Modern "wreath" on canvas! We use paints, modeling paste, faber Castell Pens, doodling, rubons and more to create this look
Fun "quilted" canvases.. with words or saying on them! I also who you how to create your own clay hearts.. and wings using a trick with modeling paste! where you can make your own "clay" looking embellishments! Super fun!
These fun canvases.. are created using OLD canvases you have on hand! ones you haven't finished, ones you aren't happy with.. perhaps you have found some old canvases at the store that have a design or print on them already.. THIS is a SUPER fun way to transform them into a piece of art to hang on your wall! Adding lots of little details and doodling.
If you would like to purchase any of these Project as a one time purchase.. you can do so by clicking on the link here!
If you would like to start a subscription to our Art Society Club.. subscriptions go live on the 8th of each month on our Scarlet Lime Website HERE.. or you can email me at [email protected] and I can put you on the wait list and send you the link directly as soon as its up!
So tell me what ARE you doing this weekend? is it warm where you are? Cold? are you crafting? Creating art? Doing laundry? Doing something fun with the family? I am taking my boys on an overnight trip to see my family in utah! Can't wait! haven't spend some Mommy/boys time in a LONG time.. it will be fun! Right? lol..
happy friday!
xoxo
Hello!!! Love your blog... fresh and very arty :D
On Saturday, a friend and I re-created Robin Blackman's gorgeous canvas piece that you posted a while ago. We both loved it. Took a bit longer than I expected, but thankfully no-one else booked in to make it (usually people live in the fast lane and want to get stuff done quick quick quick).
We added a bit of hessian behind the alphabet and I added the word happiness as well. Just cos I could :D
It was a fabulous project to do and I'll be doing it again!!! Thank you to both you and Robin for inspiring this fun creative piece. And for giving some basic instructions too :) Have a fantastic creative happy weekend!
:)

We will be spending time together, my one son is 15 on the
21 of March. So my older daughter and son in law came home for the
Weekend. Good food, and lots of laughter. Oh and
I just had new lambs born, so we will enjoy them and all of
Their antics! Happy Spring!

This weekend I'm exploring the idea of finding my personal symbology and creating meaning within my work - having connection, rather than just trying to make something pretty. I want to play in my art journals with these ideas and hoping to create something I can submit to Cloth Paper Scissors as part of their call out for their new Art Journalling book with North Light. Determined to discover and work towards my own style and step away from what I've learned from my teachers, letting the two ideas mix into something unique.

I am shooting photography sessions with a small girl this afternoon and two seniors tomorrow. In my down time I hope to redo a couple of canvases that I just to not love. I love the flexibility of Mixed Media…just love it.
Keep up the great work. Love your blog and can't wait til April 1st - Watercolor!!!! Eeek!

First of all - hello to you and Ben and the fam! Secondly, I love all the Art Society projects!! Third, enjoy your time with your boys - they are all so sweet! Lastly, slated for this weekend: I am working the art auction for my friend's son where your three generously donated canvases will raise money to benefit a wonderful charity (To Write Love On Her Arms). I will be finishing up a WRMK mini IG album with some fun pictures from my adventures at the She Matters Art Retreat and I will share some of those pics with you later - it turned out so cute and will be displayed as one of my Design Team projects in our LSS. In between all of that I will be furiously typing away for work. And th-th-that's all folks...
