Hi all! Happy Friday! It's Savitri Wilder here today and after yesterday's announcement (I LOVE Christy's new shop btw!!) I want to share a little something that's February kit related...
Over 10 years ago I was introduced to scrapbooking. A few years later it was stamping. I didn't do much with the two until our first daughter was born and ever since then I really got into scrapbooking. After doing a few layouts I realized that I had all sorts of leftover paper and embellishments and since I'm not the kind of gal to throw useful things away I started making cards.
Although you can make cards using anything this February Frugal kit has some awesome stickers that are very card friendly. A few leftover paper, some stitching and stickers you have yourself a pretty little card.
To layer stickers I adhere the stickers onto cardstock paper and trimmed around it. Using dimensional foam I layered the sentiment on top of each other. I sometimes layer 2-3 foams to get the layers I want.
I hope you enjoy this little post and do use your scraps to send somebody a little sunshine {::SMILES}.
Savitri--I love this card. It is really beautiful :)
