Hello :) Melanie here following up with Dena's AWESoMe challenge this month. HERE is the original post.
I LOVE reusing packaging on my projects and was SUPER excited about Dena's challenge . . . because I knew I could do it (LOL)!
Today I'll share with you my favorite (and EASY) way to reuse packaging. Are you ready? For Journaling spots! Instead of using white or light colored cardstock, use your package background. Now-a-days, so many packages come with cute designs on the background. My favorites are the lined ones :)
The Pink Paislee packaging background was PERFECT for a journaling box on this layout.
The background has a grid pattern on it so it was easy to write in straight lines.
I also used the same background packaging on this layout. This time instead of using a box shape, I punched a circle shape.
And because I wanted to change the sentiment on the badge, I even used packaging to cover up the original word and added the felt letter stickers on top for my title.
**Both of these layouts were made with the March Frugal FAB kits**
The challenge opened March 1st and will end at midnight PST on March 29th. Simply create a project following this month's challenge guidelines, then come back and leave a link in THIS post to your project in the comments section. Special Note: you do NOT have to use Scarlet Lime kits, you are free to use whatever products you would like. One lucky winner will be chosen at random to receive a $25 gift certificate to the Scarlet Lime Shop!Be sure to upload your project for this challenge to our Member Gallery by Tuesday the 29th. I'll be posting a winner for this month's challenge on Wednesday the 30th!
I need help posting to the gallery, can you help?

Laura-Lee, after you log in to the gallery click on "upload photos". Then you should be able to choose a photo from your computer to show in the gallery. If you have completed the monthly challenge and cannot get an image of your project into the gallery, you can leave a comment with a link to you blog or other gallery where we can see it :)
