Hello again!
Excited to share with you the canvas project I created using the September 13 mixed media kit!
I used a few extra supplies to go along with the kit this month:
1 10X10 deep edge canvas, twine, Mod Podge, Helmar 450 glue, craft paints, Faber Castell Big Brush Pens, Ranger Alcohol ink, dry wall tape, Stazon ink, heat tool, scissors, spray bottle, Scarlet Lime pen, and 2 great stamps by Christy Tomlinson!
I usually just “wing it” when I start a project and see where I wind up. This time I decided to sketch a couple of ideas on my newsprint paper I always work on.
I knew I want the background to be more neutral, with brighter colors for the heart. I picked out a few papers and ephemera from the kit along with a few strips of dry wall tape (from Lowe’s) for some texture. I then added a few colors of paint, ink and some stamping. I used one of the die-cuts from the kit for a stencil on the background.
I picked a few brighter colors and patterns of paper from the 6x6 pad, sketched out a big heart on the back ground and just started cutting strips. I laid out the strips to fill in the heart, and glued them down with Mod Podge. I really love the paint brush included in the kit! It’s my go to brush for just about everything!
I then added some embellishments (keeping in mind that I was going to add a photo later). I put a little paint, ink, and stamping on the die cuts, wood veneer pieces, and rhinestones to match. Also, at this point I added some rub-ons and doodling with the white gel pen. (I love that pen!).
Next I wrapped the banner pieces with some twine and glued them down with the Helmar 450 glue. I glued down the photo, added some paint around the edges along with some white painted splattered around the canvas. I added journaling around the heart with the gel pen and that was it! Finished!
I hope you the project for September. The kit is great! Lots of good things to work with! I don’t have a blog yet (working on it!), but if you like, you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook.

In addition, never forget to add the lubricant in the sunroof rail to ensure smooth of it. Whilst they do not completely block the light, they allow you to soften it during the day so that you can still enjoy the sunlight without it being too bright or harsh. Anyone who has cleaned thousands or at least many hundreds of roofs will tell you that there is the rare roof that still can only be cleaned by use of power washing.

One thing that is nice is you can see how people have reviewed the roof gutters that they have and be able to avoid some of the pit falls that can happen with cheep or poorly made roof gutters. (3) It is also useful if you have pets, would keep lights around the barn unwelcome visitors. To add insult to injury, the roofing contractor that would put his workers up on your roof without insurance is the same contractor that would probably ignore most safety requirements.
